Hi Peter,

Quiet day on Tory today.   Buzzard, Kestrel, Merlin, 31 Eiders offshore, 2 Purple Sandpipers on beach and Chiffchaff and Blackcap. Late afternoon (just after I left!) Anton had a Waxwing in his garden.  Last week on 2nd he had a Yellow-browed Warbler and on the 3rd a Lesser Whitethroat.

My sightings for 2nd and 3rd November, all recorded in west:

Heron   1

Barnacle Goose  flock of 14 feeding at south lake

Eider  16 offshore and 3 over the lighthouse 

Buzzard  1 on 3rd

Kestrel  1 both days

Lapwing  3 at south lake

Ringed Plover   5 on beach on 2nd, 33 there on 3rd

Skylark  1 amongst pipits on 3rd

Blackbird  1 heard

Song Thrush  1 on 2nd

Redwing  around 100 both days

Robin  1

Black Redstart  1 at lighthouse on 2nd, still present on 6th (A.M)

Chiffchaff  1 at lighthouse on 2nd, 2 there on 3rd 

Blackcap  2 on 2nd, 1 on 3rd

Lapland Bunting  2 over calling on 2nd
